Grey Wolf Hat

One of the most popular animals in fables, folktales and fairytales and  children’s stories today, the grey wolf hat was one of the first costumes I designed!

Inspired by the simple and whimsical surface patterns and shapes in folk art and woodcuts. It has pointy ears with black and white detail, striking face markings and bright honey-coloured eyes.

Easy for children to put on and take off themselves, the hat is great for World Book Day, Hallowe’en, birthday parties, school plays, festivals, classic fairytale adventures, including 3 Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood.

Handcrafted from soft suedette fabric, with beautifully appliquéd and embroidered detailing, and made to last as well as to enchant. Combining top-quality costume design with practicality and comfort, the grey wolf hat is fully lined and has a gently elasticated back so it slips on and off easily.
