Description
The classic sunshine yellow dress is beautifully handmade and designed to evoke the timeless, whimsical and enchanted feel of fairytales.
The sunshine yellow pinafore dress has a fully lined bodice, with a round neckline and contrasting white Peter Pan collar. 3 delightful white guipure flowers decorate the centre front. The full gathered skirt has a white apron over the top, trimmed with playful ric rac braid.
From adventures with the 3 bears, visiting gingerbread houses in the woods and wonderlands to name but a few, there are so many wonderful fairytale and story book characters to choose from – and even more for children to conjure up themselves! A perfect addition to the dressing up box!
Materials & Fit
Our costumes are made from manmade fabrics. This is because natural fibres, such as cotton and linen, will not pass the strict flammability safety standards with which costumes must comply. These standards are there to protect children whilst playing.
Care Guide
WASHING
Where possible, gentle care is best.
- Hand wash in cool water using a mild detergent
- Wash colours separately
- Avoid soaking for long periods
- Do not tumble dry
- Reshape gently while damp and allow to air dry naturally
If you choose to machine wash, use a delicate cycle at a low temperature and place the costume inside a laundry bag.
STAINS AND MARKS
Play can get messy and that’s part of the fun.
- Treat stains as soon as possible
- Dab gently rather than rubbing
- Avoid harsh stain removers or bleach as these can damage fabrics and trims
IRONING
Most costumes will not need ironing if dried carefully.
- If required, use a low heat setting
- Iron on the reverse side
- Avoid direct heat on trims, embellishments or printed areas
STORAGE
To keep costumes looking their best between adventures:
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Hang where possible or fold carefully
- Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
