Materials & Fit
- 100% polyester*
Combining top-quality costume design with practicality and comfort, the goat hat is fully lined and has a gently elasticated back so it slips on and off easily. It’s also comfy and durable enough for everyday play – and doubles up as a warm hat in colder weather! The goat tabard pops over the head and fastens at both sides with adjustable Velcro®, great for encouraging self dressing!
Our costumes are made from manmade fabrics. This is because natural fibres, such as cotton and linen, will not pass the strict flammability safety standards with which costumes must comply. These standards are there to protect children whilst playing.
Care Guide
WASHING
Where possible, gentle care is best.
- Hand wash in cool water using a mild detergent
- Wash colours separately
- Avoid soaking for long periods
- Do not tumble dry
- Reshape gently while damp and allow to air dry naturally
If you choose to machine wash, use a delicate cycle at a low temperature and place the costume inside a laundry bag.
STAINS AND MARKS
Play can get messy and that’s part of the fun.
- Treat stains as soon as possible
- Dab gently rather than rubbing
- Avoid harsh stain removers or bleach as these can damage fabrics and trims
IRONING
Most costumes will not need ironing if dried carefully.
- If required, use a low heat setting
- Iron on the reverse side
- Avoid direct heat on trims, embellishments or printed areas
STORAGE
To keep costumes looking their best between adventures:
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Hang where possible or fold carefully
- Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
Postage & Packaging
A wonderful it will arrive in beautiful, sustainable plastic-free packaging. Unwrap the gold-starred tissue paper to discover the magic within! You’ll also find a little extra gift from us – your own special bookmark to enjoy colouring in.
Easy for children to put on and take off, it’s a great instant costume for World Book Day, Hallowe'en, birthday parties, school plays, festivals, fairytales and more.
