This autumn leaf star wand is simple to make and a lovely way of enjoying the beautiful shapes and colours of autumn leaves. Have fun collecting some leaves and twigs or sticks on your next walk and get creating!
You will need:
- cardboard - a cereal box or mailer is perfect
- twig or stick - about 1cm thickness works well
- pencil
- scissors
- glue (PVA works best)
- leaves
How to make:
- Cut up your leaves into little pieces.
- Draw a star onto a piece of cardboard and cut it out.
- Cover one side of the cardboard star with glue. I found PVA glue worked best.
- Sprinkle the leaves onto the glue and press them down so they stick to the cardboard. Leave to dry.
- Attach twig/stick to the back of the star with glue or sticky tape.
