Have lots of fun making some autumn leaf animals with this free printable download.
Collecting leaves in autumn is a lovely way of observing nature. Why not collect some leaves when you are next out and about in your garden, park or on a walk to school or nursery? Larger leaves work better for this activity. You could use any smaller leaves to create a beautiful autumn leaf lantern.
AUTUMN LEAF ANIMALS DOWNLOAD
You will need:
- leaves
- printer
- A4 paper
- autumn leaf animals download
- coloured paper or card (optional)
- scissors
- glue
- pens/colouring pencils
TIP: Make sure your leaves are completely dry before you start. Place them between layers of paper and pop a heavy object (book) on top for a day or so. This will allow them to dry out and stay flat.
- Print the download and colour in and cut the eyes, ears and noses out.
- You can also cut out shapes for ears and noses from coloured paper or card.
- Arrange and glue them on your leaves to create different creatures.
